FLIGHTS TO PHUKET
Phuket International Airport (HKT) receives more than 40 domestic flights a day from Bangkok (main route), Koh Samui, Hat Yai, Chiang Mai, Pattaya (Utapao) and Udon Thani. As well as the international flights operating from all around, e.g., Russia, Switzerland, Sweden, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, and Kazakhstan. Moreover, a flight from Bangkok takes only an hour arrival.
FLIGHTS FROM PHUKET
On the other hands, HKT passengers can travel to amazing destinations in Thailand as many as arrival flights to Phuket. Such as Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Koh Samui, and Pattaya (Utapao). Also, several international flights to travel back directly are operating.
MOTORBIKE TAXI
The motorbike taxi riders (or ‘Win-Motoesai’) are easily identified by their special-colored jackets which has their name written on the back. You can hail them on the street or at their home station. All fares must be negotiated before the ride.
TAXI
There are metered taxis around airport and areas like Patong - Phuket Town. Fares start from 50 baht for the first 2 km. The driver may charge a flat rate for a long ride. A 100-baht surcharge will be levied if departing from the airport.
Phothong (Phuket Local Bus)
Pho-thong is a local bus located almost every place in Phuket. A trip between Patong and Phuket town cost around 60-80 THB. Phothong runs regularly between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. You'll have a better chance of catching a bus if you're in the main part of an area.
TUK-TUK
Looking for Tuk Tuk in Phuket? It is a bit different from one in Bangkok. The Tuk Tuk is a tiny minitruck that can carry about 4-6 passengers. The fare rate for a short ride from Patong to Phuket Town cost 450 THB (one way). You can also negotiate with these tuk-tuks for all day rides (Start from 2,000 THB).
RENTING YOU OWN CAR
Private rental cars are easily found in every beach area, and major rental companies operating at resorts.
JUNGCEYLON
TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT
HKT is located at the north of the island, approx. 30 km. from Phuket Town and quite far from Patong Beach and Jungceylon. The simplest way is to use official transfer service booths inside the arrival lounge. Prices are fixed between 700 – 900 THB for an Airport Limousine, and 150 THB/person for a Minibus.

Alternatively, all tourists can travel and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Phuket beach along the route with the least budget.
Route 1 Phuket Airport >> Patong Beach >> Jungceylon >> Rawai Beach
between 9.00 a.m. – 9.00 p.m.
Route 2 Rawai Beach >> Patong Beach >> Phuket Airport
between 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. which, certainly, you can drop by Patong and walk up to Jungceylon!
